Designer and master glassmaker Federico De Majo is the creative force behind the Zafferano brand, where Murano’s glassmaking heritage meets a fresh, distinctive aesthetic. From the elegant Bilia collection to the refined Esperienze Stemware, his creations blend colour, elegance, and functionality—poetically reimagining the way we experience the table. 

Born in Venice and trained in the furnaces of Murano, De Majo absorbed the art of blown glass from an early age. Following the untimely passing of his father, he took over the family business and, in 2001, founded Zafferano, charting a new course in tableware design.
